Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Remote - LATAM)
Description:
- Implement and manage Azure infrastructure using core Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and identity.
- Support Azure resource deployments following established architecture standards and best practices.
- Assist with environment builds across development, test, and production subscriptions.
- Monitor Azure resources and troubleshoot performance, availability, connectivity, and configuration issues.
- Author and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and Terraform under senior guidance.
- Deploy Azure resources through CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure infrastructure code follows organizational standards and Azure best practices.
- Apply Azure Well-Architected Framework principles across reliability, security, cost optimization, operational excellence, and performance efficiency.
- Support Azure networking implementations, including VNets, subnets, IP addressing, NSGs, UDRs, and common hub-and-spoke topologies.
- Document infrastructure designs, deployment steps, operational procedures, and participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS and foundational PaaS services.
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, specifically Bicep and Terraform.
- Understanding of Azure Well-Architected Framework concepts.
- Foundational knowledge of cloud networking, including VNets, subnets, routing, NSGs, and firewall concepts.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, such as GitHub or Azure DevOps.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow architecture guidance and engineering standards.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent preferred.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, basic scripting, Azure governance concepts, and cloud security best practices preferred.
