Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Remote - LATAM)

Description:

  • Implement and manage Azure infrastructure using core Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and identity.
  • Support Azure resource deployments following established architecture standards and best practices.
  • Assist with environment builds across development, test, and production subscriptions.
  • Monitor Azure resources and troubleshoot performance, availability, connectivity, and configuration issues.
  • Author and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and Terraform under senior guidance.
  • Deploy Azure resources through CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure infrastructure code follows organizational standards and Azure best practices.
  • Apply Azure Well-Architected Framework principles across reliability, security, cost optimization, operational excellence, and performance efficiency.
  • Support Azure networking implementations, including VNets, subnets, IP addressing, NSGs, UDRs, and common hub-and-spoke topologies.
  • Document infrastructure designs, deployment steps, operational procedures, and participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS and foundational PaaS services.
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, specifically Bicep and Terraform.
  • Understanding of Azure Well-Architected Framework concepts.
  • Foundational knowledge of cloud networking, including VNets, subnets, routing, NSGs, and firewall concepts.
  • Experience with Git-based workflows, such as GitHub or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow architecture guidance and engineering standards.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent preferred.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, basic scripting, Azure governance concepts, and cloud security best practices preferred.
