The Infusion and Day Treatment Program is a specialized outpatient care initiative serving patients from infancy through adulthood. - Blood and blood product transfusions
- Emerging therapies, complex infusion therapies, and gene therapies
- Metabolic enzyme replacement
- Food and drug allergy challenges and desensitization
- Management of outpatient PICC line complications
- Diagnostic endocrine testing
- Outpatient new onset diabetes program
- Outpatient sickle cell fever and pain programs
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care
- Administer infusions, provide day treatments, and offer clinical support in an outpatient setting
- Work a schedule (36 hours/week) with a mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, including rotating days/evenings and every third weekend
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; pediatric experience preferred
- Infusion experience and IV skills preferred.
Licensure/ Certifications:
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
