Lead Project Planning and Development:</p><p>Oversee and coordinate the early stages of project development, including feasibility studies, site selection, and</p><p>preliminary design to ensure alignment with strategic goals and profitability targets. Provide Constructability</p><p>Guidance: Offer expert support to the prospecting team by evaluating project designs for constructability, ensuring</p><p>practical and efficient execution. Develop Preliminary Balance of Plant (BOP) Designs: Create initial designs for site</p><p>civil work, turbine foundations, electrical collection systems, substations, and generation tie-lines. Perform Micro-</p><p>Siting Activities: Optimize placement of turbines, road layouts, electrical collection routes, and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">substation/switchyard</span></p><p>locations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Review and Negotiate Contracts: Lead the negotiation of BOP and</p><p>Turbine Supply Agreements (TSA), ensuring favorable terms and conditions for project success. Conduct Design and</p><p>Change Order Reviews: Review BOP and switchyard designs, evaluate contractor change order requests, and provide</p><p>oversight to maintain project quality and compliance. Ensure Safe and High-Quality Project Execution: Guide</p><p>construction efforts to ensure work is performed safely, meets quality standards, remains within budget, and is</p><p>completed on or ahead of schedule.</p><p></p><p><b>REQUIREMENTS:</b> Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any field), or a related field. and 3 years of experience in wind system design, development, construction and analysis. Also requires OSHA 10-hr or comparable job-site safety certification.</p><p></p><ul><li>Job requires EIT qualification requiring passing the Fundamental of Engineering (FE) exam and application to the state board OR PE qualifications requiring passing the FE exam, or 3 years and a graduate program.</li></ul><p></p><p>Job requires 3 years of experience in each of the following:</p><p></p><ul><li>Experience in substation layout, planning, Civil and Structural Design using AutoCAD, ArcGIS or Civil 3D software, High voltage Equipment, Protection and control design, Power System Studies using ETAP, PSSE & PSCAD software, Project Management and co-ordination using Microsoft Tools or Primavera.</li><li>Experience with electrical design, trenching and cable laying, MV cable testing, termination and energization of MV collection, design, construction, and operations of MV collection, Substation, Gen-Tie, Interconnection Switchyard, Site Civil, Turbine Foundation, Geotechnical for the wind projects.</li><li>Experience with Gen-Tie line design using PLSS CAD software, permitting and environmental consideration, overhead and underground line construction, testing and commissioning.</li><li>Experience with roadway design, drainage and erosion control using Civil 3D, ArcGIS or AutoCAD and crane pad construction</li><li>Experience with foundation design, geotechnical investigation, concrete construction, foundation testing</li></ul><p></p><p><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;"> </span></p><p><b>SALARY:</b> The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $108,000 to</p><p>$145,000 USD/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes</p><p>annual bonus. The benefits offered for this position are: medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k)</p><p>eligibility, and paid time off (including vacation, sick leave time, and parental leave).
